Job description

A well-established company that is developing world-class online media monitoring services on their platform is looking for a Back-End Engineer. The engineer will be working closely with a cross-functional team to architect cutting-edge solutions. The U.S.-based company is offering social listening, social media analytics, and other tools and services to help businesses prosper. So far, the company has managed to successfully raise more than $234mn in funding. This position requires some overlap with the EST time zone.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Improve the platform architecture in the back-end and different layers
  • Develop highly maintainable and testable code
  • Play a critical role in the decision-making process and roadmap of a new product
  • Collaborate with the engineering, product, and design teams to develop scalable solutions that meet the company’s requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end engineer
  • Extensive experience working with Java and Springboot
  • Nice to have MongoDB, Kubernetes, Redis, and SQS experience
  • Familiarity with microservices, CI/CD, AWS, Docker, NPM, and Dynamo is desirable
  • Excellent conversational and written English skills
