Job description

A U.S.-based company that is helping users to cut through traveling by providing confirmed, pre-booked, hassle-free, and trusted drivers, is looking for a Django Back-End Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for implementing the best development practices across the organization. The company provides specialized transportation for critical use cases such as medical and airport travel. The company has managed to secure more than $13.2mn during their Series B round of funding. This will be a full-time position. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-performant, enterprise software solutions
  • Build internal tools to help the company’s TNC operations run more efficiently
  • Work directly with front-end developers, and designers, and drive the product direction
  • Work with a wide range of technologies and solve problems from end-to-end

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end engineer
  • Extensive experience with Django, Django Rest Framework, and MySQL
  • Nice to have experience with REST/RESTful APIs
  • Prior experience deploying/supporting live production apps and REST APIs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
