Job description

A fast-growing company that is establishing a digital fitting service that offers fit suggestions to clothing buyers is looking for a Back-End Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for analyzing and enhancing the performance of the applications. The company is tapping into the power of modern technology to provide world-class virtual apparel fitting services. This is an amazing opportunity for developers who enjoy building next-gen solutions. 

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Help strengthen and build the company’s core infrastructure supporting the clothing fit technology
  • Work on an AWS serverless environment, utilizing a variety of native AWS services (e.g., Cognito, AppSync, SQS, RDS, etc.) in the core APIs
  • Work on the infrastructure and assist in client/partner communications to ensure the right requirements 
  • Assist in the delivery of the client onboarding and platform launches
  • Collaborate with the product analysis teams and learn from feedback to enhance the company’s best-in-class approach to clothing fit

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end engineer
  • Extensive experience in Python and PostgreSQL
  • Prolific experience in Serverless
  • Nice to have experience in Angular
  • Experience in Machine Learning is preferred 
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
