Job description

An NYSE-listed company that provides multiplatform tools and services to interactive content developers is looking for a Back-End Engineer. The engineer will demonstrate high ownership of their work and work collaboratively to plan, design, and build features that best serve the needs of users and clients. The company has built a real-time 3D development platform and raised close to $1.5bn in funding. This will be an excellent chance for the selected candidate to influence key projects and help shape the future of the platform. This role requires a time overlap with the KST or Asia Pacific region.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Take charge of integrating front-end elements with server-side logic and features
  • Work closely with product and engineering team members, including front-end engineers
  • Optimize the platform for faster execution and solve scalability issues
  • Implement security & data protection practices
  • Develop new ideas, design and build APIs, data storage solutions, and other engineering requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5 years relevant experience in working as a back-end engineer
  • Deploy and improve application logging services
  • Collaborate with product and design teams for understanding end-user requirements
  • Contribute to requirements gathering, technical specification, design, and develop software
  • Work on developing, testing, deploying, and monitoring code throughout the software development cycle
  • Implement software engineering best practices to build high-quality products
  • Participate in code reviews and build tools and documentation
