Job description

A rapidly-growing company that is leveraging the power of AI to elevate the content creation process is looking for a Back-End Engineer. The engineer will be working on a cutting-edge tech stack and have the opportunity to learn and expand their skill set. The VC-backed company works with the world’s best SEO and Direct Response Marketing experts to actively feed and upskill their AI model with new information. The selected candidate should be able to hit the ground running while working in a fast-paced environment. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Optimize and scale the existing application for maximum speed and scalability
  • Use a holistic, test-oriented approach to troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
  • Provide valuable insight on how the team can refine their processes and tools to support additional contributors in architecture and code
  • Influence and build individual features and products
  • Bring in best practices and patterns that are suitable for the engineering lifecycle 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end engineer
  • Prolific experience working with Node.js, Docker, SQL, and PostgREST
  • Familiarity with Python and Typescript is nice to have
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and an ability to work with ambiguity
