Job description

A US-based company providing a movie-theater subscription and streaming services is looking for a Back-End Engineer. The engineer will design, develop, and install scalable and highly performant software solutions. The company's movie-theater subscription services are accessed through a mobile application that allows users to look through theaters and showtimes while giving them access to new releases with no blackout dates. This will be a great chance for those who want to collaborate on building an innovative solution.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time and within the scope
  • Developing new and supporting existing user-facing features
  • Building reusable components and libraries for future use
  • Researching and recommending new technologies, set best practices and coding standards for the team

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end engineer
  • Experience with SQL, Golang, and AWS
  • Excellent analytical and time management skills.
  • Teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude
