Job description

A rapidly-growing company that specializes in generating investment recommendations across numerous asset classes by leveraging the power of AI and quantitative methodologies, is looking for a Back-End Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for delivering new products and optimizing the existing features on the platform. The company provides users with an easy-to-use investor interface that aids them to invest wisely and conveniently manage their money. The company has successfully raised around $1mn so far. This will be a full-time, long-term role that requires an overlap with the EST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain scalable and well-documented stacks 
  • Identify errors and fix bugs in the software applications  
  • Write robust, maintainable, and scalable code
  • Collaborate efficiently with cross-functional teams

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end engineer
  • Extensive knowledge of Ruby on Rails and Python
  • Nice to have a solid understanding of APIs
  • Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in verbal and written English communication
