Job description

A well-established software company designing and developing products for use across multiple industries is looking to hire a Back-end Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for building and maintaining the technology that powers the user-facing products. The fast-scaling multinational company focuses on transforming the world through innovative software products spanning architecture, engineering, construction, product design, manufacturing, and other sectors. This is a rare opportunity for the candidate to join the team and contribute to developing high-quality software used worldwide by millions of people. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Optimize the software products for speed and efficiency
  • Conceptualize and implement solutions for data storage
  • Implement application security structures and the best practices
  • Generate reusable code libraries for future implementation

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end engineer
  • Prior experience as a Java developer (APIs/Server/Storage)
  • Proficiency with SpringBoot and AWS
  • Solid understanding of databases such as NoSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc. 
  • Familiarity with building and creating new APIs
  • Good knowledge of the latest development techniques, including CI/CD, Docker (Containerized), etc.
