Back-End Engineer

A U.S.-based company that is creating cutting-edge products with the goal of upending the legal sector is looking for a Back-End Engineer. The engineer will be utilizing strategic leverage by concentrating resources on components that are vital to the customer experience, freeing up others to develop non-customer-facing parts. The company is facilitating the management of filings, completion of reports, maintenance of internal records, and good standing for enterprises and legal service providers. Over $8.2mn has been raised by the company during its Seed round of fundraising. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Create and implement front-end products with the goal of generating favorable feedback from clients, emphasizing effectiveness, and providing exceptional user experiences
• Employ your expertise in software engineering to streamline corporate procedures, exhibiting a deep enthusiasm for business results
• Adopt a customer-focused mentality by comprehending and meeting their wants and improving their experience by providing both anticipated and unanticipated changes
• Use a variety of coding resources (personal, open-source, and toolkit) to get answers more quickly, consistently, and affordably

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end engineer
• Prolific experience working with React and TypeScript
• 3+ years of experience as a front-end engineer HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• 2+ years of experience leveraging open frameworks and technology to create meaningful products. 
• Demonstrable ability to develop front-ends using React, Redux, and Less
• Strong passion for writing and deploying code the same day and the systems and practices that make that possible
• Fluent in spoken and written English communication skills
