Job description

A rapidly-emerging company committed to helping executives, consultants, and IT executives in expediting the software selection process is looking for a Back-End Developer. The developer will be tasked with executing sprint tickets that outline specific requirements. The company is on a mission to help businesses and individuals discover innovative solutions that will help drive digital transformations. During their Seed round, the company raised more than $4mn in funding. This role requires 4+ hours of overlap with the PST time zone and will be a full-time position. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build, test, and maintain back-end API endpoints with Python/Django microservices, as well as alternative frameworks like Flask and FastAPI
  • Unit and integration test suites should be developed and maintained
  • Conduct code reviews and take part in daily standup meetings
  • Participate in backlog refinements as needed to assist with the technical parts of the project
  • Whenever needed, participate in architecture design and review

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
  • Extensive experience working with Python, Django, PostgreSQL, and AWS
  • Prior experience with DevOps, CircleCI, Docker, and Microservices is nice to have
  • Familiarity with JavaScript, ReactJS, Redux, Flask, and FastAPI is desirable
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
