Job description

A US-based clinical analytics cloud platform on a mission to help clients access previously unattainable views of raw data across disparate sources is looking for a Back-End Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for writing pragmatic, performant, and testable code that works consistently across devices. The company utilizes AI-powered technology to provide life sciences with safe, effective, and actionable medical treatments and business insights. They have managed to raise around $70mn in funding so far. This role requires some overlap with the PST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Solve scalability issues by optimizing the platform for faster execution
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to determine functionalities
  • Stay informed on the latest technologies and trends
  • Build and maintain client and server-side application features and interfaces
  • Analyze the business, technical requirements, and design solutions to meet requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 6+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
  • Prolific experience working with Python, React, and AWS
  • Must have strong programming and debugging skills
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and management skills
  • Fluent in conversational and written English
