Job description

A rapidly-growing company that provides on-demand access to real financial experts on a powerful platform, is looking for a Back-End Developer. The selected candidate will work closely with the founders and CTO, contributing to company strategy and product vision. The modern financial platform combines premium robo-investment services and provides access to a personal financial advisory team. Job Responsibilities:

  • Architect and implement core business logic
  • Strike a balance between speed and iteration and the requirement for a constructive and scalable design
  • Design and develop private and public APIs
  • Address compliance and tooling requirements
  • Clearly communicate ideas, feedback, and decisions
  • Build internal debugging and monitoring system
  • Lay the technical foundation of an innovative product and contribute to the overall team culture
  • Contribute to technology, architecture, and engineering processes
  • Expand the engineering team and mentor future team members

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
  • 5+ years of experience working with Python and related technologies
  • Experience working with a server-side programming language like Ruby, JavaScript, and Go
  • Extensive experience working with data storage technologies
  • Experience developing and shipping features and projects at scale
  • Can collaborate effectively across disciplines
  • Strong problem-solving skills
