Job description

A collective consumer startup studio developing remarkable products is looking for a Back-End Developer. As a developer, you will play a critical role in the development, design, and maintenance of several industry-leading applications and systems. The candidate is expected to be highly proficient in technologies like Kubernetes, MongoDB, and Java. This job offers a great opportunity to drive best-in-class technology practices and patterns while staying engaged with the latest technology trends. It is a full-time role requiring an overlap with EST.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work across the engineering team to build new product features and services
  • Create Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) that are clean, well-documented, and easy to use
  • Learn new skills quickly and use them efficiently
  • Build secure, resilient, and global infrastructures

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
  • Extensive experience with Kubernetes, MongoDB, and Java
  • Understanding and interest in architectural patterns for highly available, scalable, and low-latency systems
  • Basic understanding of software development and programming nuances
