Job description

A US-based company that helps businesses with advanced multi-cloud governance to build a resilient, high-performing infrastructure is looking for a Back-End Developer. The selected candidate must have a solid understanding of design patterns and their significance in software development. The company helps businesses overcome security concerns and access the finest cloud services efficiently. During the Series A round, the company managed to gather funding worth more than $15 mn. This will be a full-time, long-term role and will require some overlap with the CST/IST time zones.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the developer's team to build multiple cloud products and solutions 
  • Engage in research and development activities led by architects 
  • Contribute to the product engineering, integrations, and grasp complexities at the code level, with a focus on the bigger picture
  • Utilize sound technical acumen in collaborating effectively with the team and inspire juniors members Communicate regularly and clearly with various project stakeholders 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4-7+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
  • Prolific experience working with Python
  • Demonstrable skills and experience with OpenStack Cloud Platform / OpenStack EcoSystem
  • Nice to have some knowledge of Azure, Machine Learning, and AI
  • Ability to context-switch between different problems simultaneously and prioritize them properly before execution
  • Profound coding skills and a passion to develop high-quality work
  • Demonstrable experience contributing to open-source projects, blogging on technical topics, creation of tools/frameworks/libraries, and taking part in hackathons/coding challenges/workshops, or other technical groups
