Job description

An early-stage startup that enables customers to invest in real estate quickly, securely, and easily with no thresholds is looking for a Back-End Developer. The developer will be responsible for building the application platform, working and organizing in a team using an agile software development life cycle. The company offers a secure platform for users to invest in an exclusive strategy that gives them a shot to grow their finance faster. They have secured fundings worth $6 mn+ so far. This is a nice opportunity for developers who enjoy working in an agile environment with a dynamic team.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain the back-end API
  • Be responsible for the business logic that drives the end-user app and internal tools
  • Eliminate friction from code and infrastructure deployments using automated CI/CD
  • Operate within a cloud ecosystem, primarily serverless on AWS
  • Drive implementation of solid architectural and software engineering patterns and practices (clean code, clean architecture, and Test-Driven Development)
  • Efficiently handle the design, implementation, QA, and troubleshooting requirements 
  • Participate in pair coding and code reviews

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
  • Extensive experience in AWS Cloud infrastructure 
  • Minimum of 4 years experience or general proficiency in Python or other cloud computing language (Go, C#, Java, etc.)
  • Solid expertise with GraphQL, DynamoDB, or other NoSQL databases
  • Experience, or knowledge of, data and ETL pipelines for data lakes and analytics
  • High-level expertise in collaborating with creatives, engineers, analysts, and product managers
  • Ability to synthesize complex ideas into actionable recommendations to continuously improve and evolve production processes
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • Well-versed in multiple programming languages and technical terminologies
  • A high degree of independent judgment and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-growing environment with good collaboration and interpersonal skills
