Job description

A US-based developer of an all-in-one tax and accounting platform that helps users manage business and personal finances is looking for a Back-End Developer. The developer will be responsible for developing and optimizing the existing feature on the platform while also building out new features. The fast-growing, funded startup automates the accounting and tax filing process for the US freelancer market. This will be a full-time role that requires a time overlap with the EST/PST time zone. It is an exciting opportunity for developers who enjoy working on complex issues and arriving at innovative solutions.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement and maintain a substantial project
  • Write high-quality, efficient, and reusable code 
  • Provide technical leadership and own specific areas of the product
  • Optimize the platform for faster execution and solve scalability issues
  • Build new features, fix bugs, and bring new tools and ideas to the table

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 6+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
  • 2+ years experience working with Go
  • Excellent analytical and time management skills along with attention to detail
  • Must be a team player but also capable of working independently
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
