Job description

An early-stage startup building an AI-powered influencer marketing platform is looking to hire a Back-end Developer. The developer will be responsible for architecting, troubleshooting, and improving the existing back-end applications and processes. The company is trusted by top e-commerce and consumer brands and has gained recognition for its innovative product by prominent publishing platforms. This is a great chance for the developer to join a distributed engineering team with a strong focus on growth and personal development and contribute to scaling next-generation e-commerce brands. It requires a minimum of 4 hours overlap with the PST time zone.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Implement solutions to difficult problems with a focus on major projects for the platform and applications
  • Set standards and boost engineering best practices for development and operational excellence 
  • Create highly efficient products through effective testing and monitoring systems
  • Influence the technical and product strategy, as well as the software architecture 
  • Manage and document APIs and interfaces to simplify future work processes

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
  • Must be experienced in Node.js, PostgreSQL, and Typescript
  • Deep experience with scalable architecture and various software design patterns
  • Nice to have some experience with GraphQL and Kubernetes
  • Expertise with building web applications and databases
