Job description

An emerging startup active in the E-commerce industry is looking for a Back-end Developer to join the team. The developer will be responsible for contributing to the product development and developing the back-end architecture. The company aims to simplify the online selling and buying processes for merchants and customers by using automation and creating real-time recommendations. This is a great opportunity for those who would like to collaborate with industry experts and rise quickly through the ranks.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the product development
  • Manage a team of front-end and back-end developers
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to build interfaces in web-based applications
  • Develop a scalable and performant back-end architecture
  • Make several key infrastructure-related decisions

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in back-end architecture development in MS Azure/AWS
  • Proficient with Go/.NET, Scala, and JavaScript 
  • Experience with Stripe API  and development using Stripe Connect applications
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience in interfacing with front-end developers in web-based applications
