Job description

A rapidly-expanding business that is creating an automated, intelligent operations platform to boost productivity and provide the product, marketing, and design teams more power, is looking for a Back-End Developer. The developer will be responsible for ensuring that the written code is incredibly reliable and capable of offering the user good performance. Through their all-inclusive platform, the company is assisting businesses in gaining efficiencies, reducing compliance risk, and quickly becoming industry leaders. This position requires 4+ hours of overlap with the EST time zone. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Make sure that modern security measures are put in place to thwart unwanted access
  • Find and resolve any issues in the code 
  • Build sufficient test suites to make sure the design's original functionality requirements are being met
  • Verify that the server-side code is connecting to databases in the right way

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
  • Extensive expertise with Python, Vector database, ElasticSearch or OpenSearch, and Natural Language Processing (NLP) 
  • Practical knowledge of the newest LLMs, including GPT4, LLama, Palm2, GPT-NeoX, FLAN, etc.
  • Showcased comprehension of the fundamentals and best practices of natural language processing software
  • Familiarity with RLHF, vector databases, prompt tuning and engineering, instruction tuning, and/or causal/masked language modeling
  • In-depth experience with AI and ML technologies such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
  • Fluent in English communication, both written and spoken
