Job description

A U.S.-based company that gives live event organizers the ability to provide audiences with top-notch, real-time audio to their own phones and headphones, is looking for a Back-End Developer. The selected candidate will be in charge of CI/CD build pipelines for services and firmware. The company is transforming the entertainment stage from an untapped resource into the most upscale, immersive, personal concert setting in the entire world. The company has managed to secure more than $37mn during their Series B round of funding. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Take care of updating the current app, which was created in Ember.js, and intend to recreate it in React going forward
  • Take the basic design of the first project and move the elements that are now hosted locally on servers to the cloud
  • Build, release, and maintain production back-end infrastructure and services
  • Architect containerized applications and offer deployment advice
  • Manage the current AWS and GCP cloud infrastructure
  • Manually manage and deploy Kubernetes clusters as well as using EKSs
  • Set up back-end and on-site infrastructure monitoring and alerting
  • Ensure that the legacy services are migrated and containerized for Kubernetes deployment
  • Maintain a recurring Pager Duty rotation for key infrastructure


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
  • Extensive familiarity with the Linux operating system
  • Work on programming languages with ease, such as Python, Ruby, Java, etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of AWS, JavaScript, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, and Git/GitHub
  • Fluent in spoken and written English communication
