Job description

A fast-scaling brand development platform, dedicated to providing growing brands with simpler and more effective ways to manage digital shelves, is looking for a Back-End Engineer. The engineer would be required to build and upkeep valuable back-end features and tools to help the business become more receptive. The company is passionately working towards its mission of helping brands conquer online channels, online sales demand control, online sales data, and insights. As of now, the company has been successful in securing over $6.2 million in funding.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain back-end components to enhance their responsiveness and overall performance
  • Effectively integrating front-end elements into the solution
  • Write clean and scalable code
  • Run program testing and debugging activities 
  • Brainstorm new innovations to enhance the functionality of existing systems
  • Analyze security threats to implement security and data protection solutions
  • Assess feature requests and prioritize them according to the company's vision
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify user requirements and translate them into technical solutions

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a Back-end Engineer
  • Demonstrable experience as a Python Developer
  • Expertise in popular Python frameworks such as Django and Flask
  • Familiarity with ORM (object-relational mapping)
  • Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate in a team setting 
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Fluent in spoken and written English communication
