Job responsibilities
- Solve high school-level math problems, including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and calculus.
- Provide detailed, step-by-step explanations for solutions.
- Approach complex problems systematically and creatively to ensure clarity.
- Manage time effectively to solve problems under deadlines.
- Communicate mathematical concepts clearly through written and verbal explanations.
- Adapt to working with various math problems and collaborate with team members as needed.
Minimum requirements
- Strong proficiency in high school-level mathematics (algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and calculus).
- Ability to systematically approach and solve complex problems.
- Excellent explanation skills, with the capacity to break down solutions into clear steps.
- Effective time management and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to a range of math problems and different project requirements.
- Availability to work full-time (40 hours/week).
- Desktop/laptop with a reliable internet connection and necessary software for computations.
Preferred skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, or related fields (open to candidates without a formal degree who have exceptional math skills).
- Experience in tutoring or teaching mathematics at the high school level.
- Familiarity with standardized test formats (12th standard exams).
- Experience with mathematical software (e.g., Latex, Google Collab).
