Job description

Job responsibilities

Write and maintain code for different .NET applications
Develop and update software solutions using .NET frameworks
Assist in analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan, and identifying areas of improvement in existing systems
Work closely with the QA team to handle defect-tracking systems and troubleshoot issues
Keep documentation of all technical specifications and test plans
Develop technical interfaces, specifications, and architecture
Communicate with cross-functional teams to keep track of the system activities and provide the required support

Minimum requirements

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering (or equivalent experience)
Minimum 3+ years of .NET development experience (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
Solid design and development experience with .NET, C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET, etc.
Strong background in object-oriented development techniques
Proficient with database design and development with Microsoft SQL Server
Experience in developing components and web services
Knowledge of WCF, concurrent development source control (SVN), etc.
Ability to communicate fluently in English
Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4-hour overlap with the US time zone

Preferred skills

Understanding of source code management with TFS/GIT
Familiar with T-SQL and MS Reporting Services (SSRS)
Passionate about learning new technologies
Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills
