Job responsibilities

Develop web-based software using programming languages such as VB.net, C#, and MSSQL.
Perform extensive software testing and stringent quality checks
Deliver error-free and fully functional products
Rewrite existing code to ensure compliance with specified guidelines
Ensure that outputs are user-friendly and visually compelling
Deploying developments and monitoring uptake by the target audience.
Develop technical interfaces, specifications, and architecture

Minimum requirements

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 3+ years of experience in software development with .NET (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
Experience working with SQL Server, ASP.NET framework, and architectural patterns such as MVC (Model-View-Controller)
Sound knowledge of .NET languages (especially Visual Basic .NET, C#) and HTML, CSS
Good understanding of architectural styles and APIs like RPC, REST
Experience working with databases and their languages like SQL, etc.
Fluency in the English language for effective communication
Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones

Preferred skills

Experience with development tools such as GIT and JIRA
Good understanding of Ajax and JSON
Familiar with web application frameworks such as Node and React
Knowledge of Lint tools, code coverage, and Unit testing
Familiarity with browser rendering engines
Knowledge of algorithms, software design, database systems, etc.
Effective client interaction and problem-solving skills
