Job description

A Silicon Valley-based video commerce company helping retailers and brands increase revenue and source new customers through authentic user generated commerce videos, is looking for a Full-Stack, Front-End-Heavy Engineer. The engineer will take responsibility for designing, building, and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable codes on the front-end and back-end. The company’s AI platform offers several tools for social commerce such as user generated video, discovery, intelligence, content marketing, and many more. The platform has raised close to $3mn in funding so far. This will be a nice opportunity for the selected candidate to own features end-to-end, from conception to production, and have substantial impact on the future direction and success of the company.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build robust, performant, and user-facing web applications 
  • Work as an integral part of the team to deliver exceptional software solutions
  • Develop responsive, accessible code of high quality
  • Define, detail and scope the technical requirements into solution architectures
  • Address complex problems by breaking them up into simpler bits and implementing across multiple services

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack/front-end engineer
  • High-level proficiency in Shopify API, Liquid, React, JavaScript, and Node.js’
  • Experience in Ruby on Rails, Python, and MongoDB is nice to have
  • Solid front-end development skills with Shopify experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
