Job description

A fast-growing company helping businesses to win the Shopify game and achieve further growth by digging into their data to analyze performances and opportunities for improvement, is looking for a Web Back-End Engineer. The selected candidate will be tasked to build stable, high-performing services for the platform. The internet-based firm allows businesses to quickly understand valid data modules, remove unnecessary data, and drive more revenue to increase growth. This role requires a significant overlap with the European time zone and is an excellent growth opportunity for talented developers. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Own back-end-specific services and share with team members the best development practices 
  • Build robust and scalable applications
  • Improve existing products and build innovative new ones
  • Collaborate across teams to understand end-user requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Design and develop high-quality reusable code 
  • Solve complex problems and deliver timely results 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end engineer
  • Extensive experience working with Node.js and AWS
  • Familiarity with web server technologies and knowledge of database systems 
  • Good written and spoken communication skills
  • Excellent collaboration and leadership skills
