Job description

A US-based marketing company, reimagining how businesses advertise by utilizing their proprietary technology, is looking to hire a Web Back-End Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for making the platform more reliable and delightful by taking ownership of the end-to-end product quality. The venture-backed company has built an audience data technology and marketing solutions platform for small, medium, and Fortune 100 companies. This will be a long-term, full-time position that requires an overlap of 4+ hours with the EST time zone. It s a great opportunity for developers to work in an agile environment while rubbing shoulders with industry veterans.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive continuous feature development and scale the platform
  • Think big, iterate quickly, and ship code continuously
  • Develop and manage future products by making efficient architectural choices
  • Participate in regular ideation and brainstorming sessions

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Demonstrable skills working with Java, Ruby on Rails, and AWS
  • Prior working experience with Neo4j and Node.js is nice to have
  • Great organizational and management skills
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
