Job description

An emerging company helping developers to quickly and easily build, share, and test code, is looking for a Web Back-End Developer. The selected candidate will be in charge of building and optimizing high-quality products with best-in-class technologies. The company is revolutionizing the future of software development with their advanced technology that enables builders to build efficient code and functions in Ephemeral, ready-to-code, on-demand environments. This will be a long-term, full-time position that requires some overlap with the PST time zone.

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Architect and design components of SaaS product features 
  • Work in a leadership role to monitor and guide the development of the company’s SaaS components
  • Build, mentor, and brainstorm solutions with the software engineering team
  • Work closely with the product, sales, and developer team to refine product specifications
  • Architect and develop back-end, API-based services to manage and process customer data
  • Regularly conduct code reviews and deploy code while improving the software development process

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
  • Extensive experience in Java, Go/Golang, Kafka, Cassandra, AWS, ElasticSearch, and MySQL
  • Nice to have experience in GCP, Azure, and Azure Cloud SQL 
  • Experience working with Open Source Systems
  • Demonstrable experience building and running services on AWS
  • Prior experience working with Microsoft Azure and Google GCP is a plus
