Job description

The selected candidate will be tasked with gathering information about project feasibility, limitations, capabilities, requirements, and interfaces. The company’s tailor-made software provides a membership/online education solution to customers worldwide. This is an exciting opportunity for developers to work with a talented group of industry experts in an ambiguous environment. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Create high-quality, scalable, and predictable web applications using the Microsoft technology stack, as well as maintain internal and external-facing web applications with C#
  • Create and direct software testing protocols, documentation, and programming to ensure that all software is correctly developed and tested for quality assurance on a regular basis
  • Consult with additional specialists such as systems analysts, developers, and engineers
  • Modify old software on a regular basis to rectify errors, adapt to new hardware, and improve overall function and performance
  • Examine new code for architecture, reusability, performance, automation, security, and metrics
  • Collaborate with specialised teams within the organisation 
  • Discover and build solutions for technical business problems that boost employee productivity and assist the company meet its financial objectives

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
  • 3+ years of experience with.NET Core
  • Familiarity with ASP.NET framework, SQL Server, and EF Core
  • Experience with design/architectural patterns like Mediator, Dependency Injection, and CQRS
  • Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST) and OIDC/OAUTH2 protocols
  • In-depth knowledge of messaging queues like RabbitMQ and AWS SQS/SNS
  • Experience with IdentityServer, FluentValidation, Hangfire, AspNet Identity, MediatR, AWS, Cloudflare, SendGrid is nice to have
  • Solid understanding of testing frameworks
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Team player, critical thinker and have good problem-solving skills
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Good time-management skills
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
