Job description

A US-based company building a clinically-focused app in support of community health care centers, covering different regions and socioeconomic groups, is looking for a Web Back-End Developer. The selected candidate will guide a talented team as they engage community health experts to tailor the clinical app for deployment to the field. The platform connects complex, chronic care patients and their care teams with their entire health picture, health tools, information, and the support they need to live their healthiest life. This role requires some overlap with the EST time zone. This is an excellent opportunity for developers to make a difference in health care outcomes and costs for everyone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Meet project deadlines efficiently and quickly
  • Serve as the hands-on senior developer and SME for product development 
  • Set the stage for the continuing evolution and scaling of the platform
  • Work on the design and delivery of features efficiently
  • Fix bugs and bring innovative solutions to the table 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
  • Extensive experience working with Mobile development
  • Prolific working knowledge of Flutter, Java, Spring, MongoDB, JavaScript, FHIR, Kubernetes, SecDevOps, and AWS
  • Familiarity with Machine Learning, R, and Python is nice to have
  • Knowledge of FHIR app development and RPA/BPA integration experience is desirable
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
