Web Back-End Developer

A fast-growing platform building a music marketplace that helps artists to get paid directly by fans is looking for a Web Back-End Developer. The selected candidate will be in charge of building the company’s large-scale, high-performance application that will be utilized by millions across the globe. The company is creating a next-generation platform that leverages the power of AI algorithms to revolutionize the music industry. This is an exciting opportunity for developers who wish to apply their creativity and build scalable, effective solutions. This role requires some overlap with the EST time zone.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products
• Work on building reliable back-end services
• Optimize the platform for faster execution and solve scalability issues
• Use a holistic, test-oriented approach to troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
• Take ownership of assigned tasks and work independently

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
• Extensive experience working with Django, Python, and JavaScript
• Fluent in English communication, both written and spoken
• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
