Job description

A blockchain-enabled platform alleviating the payout pain point in the e-sports industry is looking for a Web Back-End/Blockchain Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for architecting, implementing, releasing, and supporting high-quality features of the platform. The platform equips players, organizers, and game developers with tools to create, facilitate, and participate in esports tournaments through a scalable payment technology. This is a full-time, long-term role requiring an overlap with the EST time zone.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Explore, define and develop new technologies and architecture
  • Re-evaluate existing technologies to constantly improve the platform
  • Improve upon and build new business-critical features and infrastructure
  • Tackle software bugs and technical troubleshooting

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end or blockchain engineer
  • Must have experience in Java, Web3, and SpringBoot
  • Proficiency in Solidity and Kafka is nice to have
  • Passionate about well-tested code and strive to improve your work
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills
