Job description

A fast-growing company that is democratizing the energy industry by enabling businesses to participate in the power market through virtual and distributed systems is looking for a Systems Lead. The selected candidate will be working closely with team leads and other developers to build, maintain, and execute innovative, customer-facing products. The U.S.-based company is collaborating with top-tier suppliers and renewable energy developers to help businesses manage their solar/energy storage investments. The company has managed to securely raise $3.4 mn+ in funding so far. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with clients, IT and networking departments to establish the connection between their platform and the customer 
  • Deal with firewall managers and establish reliable connectivity
  • Connect with customers and diagnose connectivity problems 
  • Optimize the software products for speed, reliability, and efficiency

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Prolific knowledge of Client systems 
  • Solid understanding of cellular technology, networking, and routes in firewall
  • Prior experience in Google Cloud
  • Knowledge and understanding of networking is required
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
