Job description

A fast-growing company that is developing cutting-edge multi-carrier shipping and logistics software is looking for a Systems Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for successfully completing assigned tasks, either individually or as a team. The company has made a name for itself as a multi-carrier, enterprise-wide shipping execution solutions sales and service leader, assisting businesses of all sizes to automate and enhance the effectiveness of their shipping and distribution operations. Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, enhance, and improve the current software products 
  • Create and implement code for integration projects, individually and in collaboration with others
  • Determine and evaluate the effects of changes to current projects. 
  • Test, debug, and resolve problems throughout the whole technology stack.
  • Work together with coworkers in the organization for product development.
  • aid in enhancing technical tools and infrastructure 
  • Work largely independently on daily activities
  • Help with project migration to GitHub
  • Assist with creating a strategy for utilizing GitHub with upcoming advancements (policy, procedures, and training)

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a systems engineer
  • Demonstrable .NET/C#, ASP.NET,.NET Core, MVC, and SOAP XML web service experience 
  • Clear understanding of SQL Server development and maintenance 
  • Comprehensive understanding of GitHub, JavaScript, and jQuery
  • Working knowledge of regression and unit testing
  • Some comfort interacting with clients and non-technical employees
  • Nice to have some real-world examples of production-quality work done in the past
  • Experience in both back-end and front-end system development and deployment is desirable
  • Prolific experience with REST API patterns is preferred
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) concepts is nice to have
  • Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written
