Job description

A U.S.-based company that enables car owners to rent their cars and share rides is looking for a Senior iOS Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for assuring the application's quality and performance. The company is building the world's top global and digital carsharing marketplace, using unique technology and data to enhance the vehicle sharing process. The company has managed to raise close to $600 mn in funding. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop iOS-compatible mobile applications
  • Collaborate with the design team to define the best features
  • Ensure the quality and performance of the application
  • Recognize potential obstacles and fix bottlenecks
  • Identify and fix bugs before the final release
  • Publish applications on App Store

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3-5+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Knowledge of iOS
  • Experience building at least 2 production apps in Swift
  • Knowledge of REST APIs and MVVM patterns is nice to have
  • Familiarity with Objective-C / Swift is a plus
  • Knowledge of RxSwift, Combine, and functional/reactive programming is nice to have
  • Dependency Injection and design pattern knowledge are a plus
  • Kif / Earl Grey experience is desirable
  • Experience with CircleCI is a plus
  • Proficiency in English
