Senior Fullstack Engineer

A fast-growing company that focuses on rethinking the entire personal photo/video experience from the ground up is looking to hire a Senior Mobile Engineer. The engineer will join the team as a founding member and work directly with the founders while maintaining daily interactions with the CEO. The company is building a solution that allows individuals to curate and edit their personal media in a scalable and manageable way, ensuring they become directors in their life’s documentary. The team is led by industry leaders and top executives previously at Google, Dropbox, Disney, etc. The selected candidate will have a unique opportunity to join a venture-backed company with top-tier VCs and contribute to transforming how humanity interacts with their memories. This role requires a time overlap of at least 6 hours daily with the Pacific Time Zone.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the founders to build scalable and efficient applications
• Take charge of building the mobile app from scratch
• Collaborate with the UX team and iterate quickly based on the build-measure-learn loop
• Work with Google Photos APIs and build caching systems to ensure scalability of the application

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience working on Github)
• At least 5+ years of experience working as a mobile engineer
• Strong experience with React Native or SwiftUI
• Experience working with REST APIs, wrappers, and back-end components
• Passionate about building pixel-perfect applications and delivering a great customer experience
• Desire to learn new technologies
• Experience working on ML algorithms, models, and computer vision projects would be preferred
• Nice to have some experience working on consumer products
• Passionate about enhancing personal photos and videos experience
