Senior Full-Stack Front-End-Heavy Developer

A US-based companionship social media app that aims to help people strengthen and maintain relationships is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Front-End-Heavy Developer. The selected candidate will be working closely with the existing team of skilled developers to help build and develop new features and technologies for the platform. The platform offers couples dates curated by a wide range of community members, friends, and family, resulting in strong nurturing ties. This will be a full-time, long-term position that requires an overlap with the PST time zone.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and work with a great engineering team to solve complex problems 
• Build and maintain a scalable platform 
• Employ engineering’s best practices while optimizing performance
• Collaborate with diverse teams and work within a microservices architecture
• Own the entire software development lifecycle and provide regular updates 

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3-5+ years of relevant experience as a front-end focused or full-stack developer
• Demonstrable experience working with React Native, React, and related technologies
• Prior extensive experience with Java and Node.js is preferred
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
• Great communication and management skills
• Capable of working in an agile environment without being micromanaged
