Job description

A rapidly-growing company running a next-generation platform with a large global user base is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer. The engineer will be examining code, design documentation and providing feedback on product requirements and mockups. The company enables users to join and establish long-lasting communities, never-ending debates, and true human connections. The company has managed to raise close to $1.5 bn in funding. This position requires an overlap with the PST time zone.

Job Responsibilities:

Join a product engineering team developing new and intriguing promoted experiences
With solid web development knowledge, serve as a domain owner across the stack
Solve difficult design and product issues
Collaborate cross-functionally with design, product, and engineering to provide excellent user experiences
Participate throughout the whole development cycle, including technical design, development, testing, experimentation, analysis, and launch
Examine code and design documentation and provide input on product specifications and mockups

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
4+ years of experience in web application development using JavaScript, Typescript, or other relevant languages
Experience with React, Vue, or Angular
Knowledge of Python, Java, Go, and Scala
Familiarity with software engineering best practices like unit testing, code reviews, design, and documentation
An interest in the advertising business and understanding customer needs is nice to have
Proficiency in English
