Job description

An NYSE-listed company that is helping clients to transform their renewable projects with clean energy intelligence is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer. The engineer will be helping the existing team to develop both the back-end and front-end applications. The company provides and manages battery storage solutions to enhance the production of renewable energy and aid in the construction of a cleaner, more reliable grid. The company has managed to successfully raise $550 mn+ in funding so far. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop REST APIs and solutions based on microservices architectures running in the cloud
  • Develop SQL data models and write/debug SQL query statements
  • Conduct code reviews regularly 
  • Participate in the team’s on-call rotation and brainstorming sessions 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 7-10+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack engineer
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in creating cloud or enterprise software
  • Extensive experience in Python
  • Proficient in writing unit tests for Python microservices
  • Willing to create and discuss engineering documents and architecture diagrams
  • Comprehend containerization via Docker/Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including Scrum (and daily standups), sprints, epics/stories
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
