Job description

A U.S.-based company that facilitates the growth of tabletop game publishers' businesses by assisting them in developing closer ties with players and retailers, is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer. The engineer will be in charge of the engineering organization's numerous development teams as partners. The company's innovative new gaming software solutions are bringing disruptive technology to a TCG industry that is underserved by developing and maintaining a wide range of software solutions globally. Job Responsibilities:


  • Design, create, test, release, manage, and enhance React features and components
  • Drive and participate in the creation of new development capabilities
  • Own and promote the use of React services and agile development tools in the software development industry
  • Keep project dependencies current, and resolve any issues
  • Develop unit tests to create clear, effective, and maintainable code
  • Best practice knowledge should be recorded, shared, and distributed within the team
  • In order to help the organization establish engineering standards, mentor other engineers on the team, and collaborate with engineering management
  • Be a receptive developer by being adaptable and considerate of others
  • Must be at ease in a dynamic setting
  • Help build up the engineering staff, take the helm in developing new and existing features for the product line, and mentor junior engineers as needed
  • Be a self-starter, a team player, and a flexible worker
  • Must be passionate about creating software that is focused on customers
  • Ability to persuade and share technical ideas and solutions with cross-functional teams
  • Influence the engineering team's culture and set an example for your other coworkers by doing so
  • Determine lifecycle framework bottlenecks and aggressively offer solutions
  • Be adaptable and respectful of others and superiors by developing an open mind


Job Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack engineer
  • Prolific experience with React, Express, Redux, Git, and Toolkit
  • Demonstrable experience working with MongoDB, JavaScript, SQL/NoSQL, GCP Cloud Deployment, and Docker
  • Expertise in the design and development of TypeScript and Node.js applications
  • In-depth knowledge of Node.js, Webpack, Redux, and Yarn as well as the popular tools used in the larger React ecosystem
  • Strong background in managing and creating RESTful APIs
  • In-depth knowledge of NoSQL Stores (Redis, Firestore, MongoDB, Elasticsearch) and database technologies like MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.
  • Prior experience working with GCP/AWS cloud deployment
  • Nice to be a self-starter and take pleasure in creating software from scratch
  • Excellent TCG or gaming enthusiast knowledge is preferred
  • Nice to have some understanding of React Native, DevOps, and Data Engineering 
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
