Job description

A U.S.-based company that is on a mission to help potential homeowners achieve their goals seamlessly while circumventing the competitive real estate market, is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer. The engineer will be working closely with the CTO while architecting and enhancing the platform’s functionality and features. The company's platform enables homeowners and homebuyers to interact directly and look into off-market offers. This will be a full-time position and is a nice opportunity for developers who are eager to be part of a great team while working in a fast-paced environment. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Team up and communicate with the product team when defining and creating superior solutions
  • Develop the REST API and React.js back-end
  • Integrate with third-party systems
  • Improve test coverage, automation, and general code quality

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 7-10+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack engineer
  • Solid understanding of software engineering principles
  • Demonstrable experience with Node.js, Java, or other relevant back-end technologies
  • Prolific experience with React, Next.js, Angular, and other related front-end frameworks
  • Extensive experience working with JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Node.js, and browser
  • Prior experience consuming or developing RESTful APIs
  • In-depth knowledge of NoSQL databases like Redis, ElasticSearch, DynamoDB, MongoDB, etc.
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience working with production systems and releases
  • Familiarity with Amazon AWS including EC2, Lambda, CloudFormation, DynamoDB, Route53, etc. is preferred
  • Nice to have some knowledge of deployment/DevOps/configuration management
  • Prior experience with React Native (iOS, Android) is desirable
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
