Job description

A US-based company that is developing an AI-powered conversation intelligence platform to assist revenue teams in creating frictionless purchase experiences, is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Front-End-Heavy Developer. The developer will be in charge of diagnosing the root cause of challenges in any of the team-owned service area. The company is developing cost-effective solutions for inbound call marketing, call monitoring, call intelligence, and pay-per-call advertising. The company has managed to successfully raise $115mn+ during their Series E round of funding.

Job Responsibilities:

Report to the Senior Manager of Software Engineering and work in a team full of professionals constantly looking to improve their skills in software development practices and tools
Work on writing high-quality code
Perform as a technical expert in a feature set or specific area
Work independently on complex tasks
Possess end-to-end ownership of projects with increasing complexity
Find and suggest future work areas and back these suggestions with data
Be hands-on with identifying and mitigating risk in ideation, delivery, and all the other stages of the software development cycle
Keep the leaders updated with progress, potential surprises (both bad and good), and blockers
Maintain clear communication on production problems, ensure zero prompting when writing actionable tickets, and quickly delegate or fix them
Develop cases for ideas using reason and logic, backed by quantitative and qualitative evidence

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 4+ years of relevant experience as a senior Full Stack developer
Demonstrated experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL and JavaScript/HTML
Proificient at removing any roadblock when working on complex tasks
Extensive expertise in one or more features sets or areas
Must be aware of industry trends and best practices
Must be competent in numerous skills other than pure coding, like performance optimization, monitoring, security, visual design, integration testing, and more
Proven recognition as a top-notch engineer
Must have at least 4 years of experience with GraphQL and React
Must have 3+ years of experience working with CSS
Must have at least 2 years of Ruby on Rails experience
Must have at least 1 year of Backbone experience
Node.js and Java experience is nice to have
Skilled in verbal and written English
