Job description

A U.S.-based company that is building an innovative live-learning platform that offers students interactive lessons in a wide range of subjects is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Back-End-Heavy Developer. The developer will be collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve back-end solutions across the platform. The company is providing users with customized learning solutions that cater to their requirements. During their Series C round, the company raised more than $100mn in funding. This position requires 6+ hours of overlap with the PST and EST time zones. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide a high-quality user experience and overcome scalability issues  
  • Analyze website performance and drive improvements 
  • Collect feedback and improvements from end-users, iterate, and test again
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks and efficiently execute them

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack or back-end developer
  • Prolific experience working with AWS
  • Extensive knowledge of Golang
  • Some prior experience with Python, Lambda, PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB is nice to have
  • Fluent in spoken and written English communication
