Job description

A US-based company that is developing a strong conversation intelligence capabilities platform for marketers by harnessing the power of AI, is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer. The selected candidate will be tasked with constantly improving their knowledge of software development tools and practices. The company is developing the world's foremost conversation intelligence platform to improve every digital touchpoint and human interaction. They have managed to raise more than $115mn in funding during their Series E round of funding. 

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Encourage teammates to work together in developing high-quality, dependable, and well-tested features
  • Raise the bar for others around you in order to aid their development while also reinforcing your own expertise
  • Have end-to-end accountability for complicated projects that necessitate the collaboration of several people
  • Propose new technologies/architectures on occasion and work with technical leadership to encourage adoption
  • Be part of a self-sufficient team with a dedicated Product Manager and QA Engineer that can quickly and easily detect the root cause of problems in any service area managed by the team
  • Proactively convey production issues, submit actionable tickets without being asked, and fix or delegate them fast
  • Ability to assist a team in overcoming roadblocks to advancement
  • Encourage equality, diversity, and inclusion

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of experience working as a full-stack developer
  • Expertise in Ruby on Rails
  • Has experience working on an agile team and is enthusiastic about development
  • Experience or interest in GraphQL, Kafka, and Docker/Kubernetes is a plus
  • Database design and foundations knowledge is required
  • Apart from writing, you should be able to do tasks like monitoring, performance optimization, integration testing, security, and more
  • Effective and timely communication to ensure that leaders are continuously informed about progress, roadblocks, and potential surprises (both positive and negative)
