Job description

A well-funded healthcare technology firm on a mission to make prescription medications more accessible and inexpensive to the public is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer. The selected candidate will take charge of building products that give customers the best possible experience while purchasing prescription medications. The proprietary platform enables patients to efficiently get access to telemedicine and home delivery for prescriptions. The company has managed to raise funding worth more than $170 mn so far. This is a unique opportunity for developers to work in a highly collaborative team of builders and operators breaking barriers in the healthtech industry.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design new APIs to power features
  • Fix performance problems and debug production issues
  • Take ownership over complex problems, envision and refine strategic solutions, and drive rapid execution 
  • Perform peer code and architecture reviews
  • Collaborate closely with a talented, cross-functional team of designers, product managers, data scientists, marketers, and operators
  • Build and release new features to production, write unit tests, and constructively give or receive feedback
  • Develop and AB test new ReactJS components to improve the user experience
  • Coach, mentor, and develop engineers to reach their full potential while enhancing collaboration and product success
  • Take responsibility for the long term success of the product, projects, and people

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3-5+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer
  • Technical expertise working in a team and turning ideas into reliable, maintainable code
  • Prolific experience working with AWS, Python, JavaScript, MySQL, and Linux
  • Experience writing code that is understandable, maintainable, robust, and testable
  • Prior experience diving into a large codebase and contributing immediately
  • Comfortable owning features from design through delivery to production
  • Extensive experience with one or more modern programming languages
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
