Job description

A real estate startup building solutions designed to eradicate the paperwork involved in buying and selling houses is looking for a Senior Python Developer. The engineer will be responsible for implementing tools within the platform, externalizing the internal APIs and working on the authorizations. The company is currently working on performing integrations and externalizing the platform following an acquisition by a large real estate brokerage company with up to $1.5 billion in funding. This is a great chance for the selected candidate to join a fast-growing team and contribute to developing the modern platform for residential real estate transactions. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate heavily with the product and design teams on new products and features
  • Uphold and improve the consistency and maintainability of our codebase  
  • Work on externalizing the internal APIs
  • Perform integrations within the platform

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience in front-end technologies (React, Angular, Vue, jQuery)
  • Deep expertise in Python, SQL / Relational databases
  • Experience with MobX, component libraries and Less CSS preprocessor
  • Working knowledge of Flask, Postgres and AWS on the backend
  • Proficient in continuous integration with CircleCI and TestCafe
