Job description

An early-stage, rapid commerce company that offers speedy deliveries of groceries and other household essentials at all times, is looking for a Senior Flutter Engineer. The engineer will have the opportunity to join the team and play a key role in collaborating with a close-knit team to deliver excellent products to customers. The company is backed by Y-Combinator, one of the top startup accelerators. This job presents a full-time opportunity for the selected candidate to imbibe high collaboration skills, trust, and self-management in building scalable software solutions.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Flutter and Dart application lifecycles, UI rendering, and animations are all areas in which you should be well-versed
  • Have self-discipline and the capacity to operate independently while working remotely
  • Experience developing complicated Flutter apps that are cross-platform compatible and published on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store
  • Patterns of State Management Knowledge (Bloc or similar)
  • Working knowledge of Android/iOS native technologies and libraries, such as location services, maps, and other common libraries.
  • Working knowledge of production monitoring, tracking, and A/B testing software (Firebase or similar)

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a flutter engineer
  • Storage, threading, and performance tweaking expertise
  • Experience in full-stack development, which involves working on all aspects of a project
  • Use pipelines to automate processes (Gitlab CI, Jenkins, or similar).
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and a strong understanding of system design (AWS, GCP)
  • Working knowledge of production monitoring and logging tools (Datadog or similar)
  • Experience dealing with production difficulties and swiftly resolving them, as well as conducting post-mortems and determining the leading cause
