Job description

A Silicon Valley-based company accelerating the digital transformation for some of the world’s largest enterprises is looking for a Senior Back-End Software Engineer. The engineer will be expected to take ownership of the code quality while running in production. The NYSE-listed company’s advanced technology makes it easier for businesses to sort through an ever-increasing volume of data to produce value and competitive difference. They have managed to securely raise around $1bn in funding so far. This role offers a great opportunity for software engineers to learn about the modern data stack ecosystem and work on innovative projects that are fast-paced.

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop robust and scalable data infrastructure for software
  • Develop services and system architecture for projects 
  • Provide assistance and feedback to other team members
  • Improve code quality using unit tests, automation processes, and code reviews
  • Brainstorm and contribute ideas to improve technology, algorithms, and products
  • Collaborate with product, design, customer-success teams to understand user preferences, develop use cases, and translate them into effective technical solutions
  • Take charge of resolving challenging technical problems and delivering results successfully

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience building software
  • Prior experience developing distributed systems and/or databases
  • Thorough understanding of technologies like Nodejs
  • Must be able to work with languages like Python
  • Should possess knowledge of Cloud services like AWS, GCP, and Microsoft Azure
  • Thorough understanding of Kubernetes development
  • Should be well-versed in Data Infrastructure
