Job description

A fast-growing platform that enables businesses to infuse speech and conversational intelligence into their products is looking for a Senior Back-End Engineer. The selected candidate will be part of a small team responsible for taking data-driven approaches to develop new products. Enterprises can automate their contact-center operations with the company's next-generation multilingual technology. The company has managed to raise more than $25mn in funding during its Series B round. This role requires a significant overlap with the EET time zone.

Job Responsibilities:

Write high-quality, efficient, and reusable code
Build new features and fix bugs
Plan, design, and execute end-to-end web architecture
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products
Provide recommendations for continuous improvement

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a back-end engineer
Experience working with containers like Docker
Experience working with any RDBMS like PostgreSQL and MySQL
Extensive experience building microservices and event-driven architectures
Demonstrable experience working with Python or Golang
Experience troubleshooting server performance - memory issues, GC tuning, resource leaks, etc.
Ability to design and implement low latency RESTful or GRPC services
Capable of working independently and being a self-starter
