Job description

A U.S.-based company that is helping businesses to foresee the future for the best resource allocation and planning is looking for a Senior Back-End Engineer. The engineer will be collaborating closely with cross-functional teams while leading high-performance back-end integration efforts. The company is constructing the resource distribution model of the future to help businesses develop trustworthy networks and digital twins for connectivity. During their Pre-Seed round, the company managed to secure $1.2mn+ in funding. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Write clear, effective, and reusable code in accordance with the requirements of coding standards 
  • Utilize existing software to troubleshoot, debug, upgrade, and gather input for ongoing development
  • Make sure you follow up with leads promptly and escalate any process flaws, hazards, or obstacles
  • Organize the tasks, direct the back-end development team, and guide junior developers

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a back-end engineer or ML Engineer (Technical SaaS Products)
  • Demonstrable experience integrating code, via Git, into Django/GraphQL app, served from within a Docker container
  • Experience working with Numpy vectorization (Scipy - Scikit-Learn - Pandas), PostgreSQL Database, Django and Graphene-Django
  • Desired experience working with GeoPandas, Shapely and AWS
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken
